Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of NullSwap ("NullSwap", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What NullSwap is
NullSwap is a non-custodial interface that helps you swap one cryptocurrency for another. Swaps are executed by third-party protocols and settled on public blockchains. We never take custody of, hold, freeze, seize, or control your funds at any point.
2. Eligibility and prohibited users
You may use NullSwap only if you can lawfully use cryptocurrency services where you are, and you are not: (a) located in, or a resident of, a comprehensively sanctioned or otherwise prohibited jurisdiction; or (b) a person or entity subject to sanctions. You must not use NullSwap for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or sanctions evasion.
3. Non-custodial and irreversible
You are solely responsible for the addresses you provide. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. If you enter an incorrect, incompatible, or unsupported recipient or refund address, your funds may be permanently lost, and we cannot recover, reverse, or refund them.
4. Quotes, rates and slippage
Quotes are estimates provided by the underlying protocol and may change until your deposit is received. If the market moves beyond your selected slippage tolerance, or you deposit after the quote/deposit window expires, the swap will not complete and your funds are automatically returned to your refund address.
5. Fees
A service fee is included within the quoted rate you see before you confirm. The amount you are quoted to receive already accounts for it.
6. Refunds
Refunds for failed, expired, or non-completed swaps are sent automatically to the refund address you provided. Refunds are always returned to your own address; we never redirect them elsewhere.
7. Sanctions compliance
We screen transactions and may decline any swap for compliance reasons. Because the Service is non-custodial, a declined swap is simply not executed and any funds you sent are returned to your refund address - we never freeze or seize funds. You represent and warrant that you are not a sanctioned person and are not acting on behalf of one.
8. No advice
Nothing on NullSwap is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for any taxes arising from your transactions.
9. Third-party dependencies
The Service depends on third-party protocols and public blockchains that we do not control. We are not responsible for their availability, performance, delays, forks, or failures.
10. "As is"; no warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Cryptocurrency is volatile and carries risk; you use NullSwap at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NullSwap and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service, including lost or misdirected funds, incorrect addresses, market movements, or third-party or blockchain failures.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
